How Cal2Meet uses your Google Calendar data
Cal2Meet asks you to sign in with Google and grant a single
read-only permission, calendar.events.readonly
("View events on all your calendars"). It reads the title, start
and end times, and Google Meet link of today's events on your
primary calendar, and uses them only to:
- show a countdown to your next meeting in the menu bar,
- play alerts as the meeting approaches, and
- open the meeting's Google Meet link five minutes before it starts.
Cal2Meet never creates, modifies, or deletes events. Calendar data stays on your Mac: nothing is sent to our servers or shared with anyone. See our Privacy Policy for details.
